I work from my North Norfolk coastal studio. Previously a professional photographer in the theatre, I was also an Artistic Director & Producer. However, spinal problems returned me to education and I obtained C&G’s Ceramics & an HND in Fine Art, taking fine-art ceramics, painting, printmaking & digital imagery. I then studied collagraph & non-toxic methods with Sheffield printmaker Peter York.
As an artist/patient I’ve received commissions from the ‘Arts in Health’ sector, including a major exhibition at The Northern General Hospital with lectures & conference involvement. This remains part of my creative practice.
Landscape & ocean feature heavily and I love utilising materials & combination processes. I largely concentrate on print & paint, with photographic imagery often part of a mixed approach.
A former NOVA Chair, I’ve organised & curated exhibitions on their behalf, often participate in Open Studios & the COAST festival, & exhibit widely.
