‘Our Local Wilderness’ - Why we must protect the unique world of Norfolk's chalk reef
North Norfolk's chalk reef is a dinosaur era rock formation, worked by ice ages and now a beautiful home to hundreds of species just beyond the Cromer holiday coast. Living so close to man means pressures of many kinds and now, more than ever, we have a duty to protect this local wilderness. Diving photographer Rob Spray has been obsessed by the area for 20 years and as part of Seasearch East has brought the beauty and vulnerability of this hidden habitat to public attention.
